Program / Project Manager (QA Transformation)
Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid 3 days in SF Financial District)
12-24 Month Contract (Renewable)
Rate $75-125 ph w2
Overview:
We are seeking a Program/Project Manager to lead the development of a centralized Quality Assurance (QA) model across a complex, cross-functional technology organization. This role will drive stakeholder alignment, oversee QA vendor selection, and establish scalable processes, governance, and metrics to support enterprise-wide QA transformation.
- Lead stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions across technology teams to identify QA needs, gaps, and priorities.
- Define and document requirements to support QA strategy, vendor selection, and operational design.
- Manage end-to-end program delivery, including timelines, KPIs, reporting, and risk management.
- Establish governance frameworks, communication plans, and success metrics.
- Drive QA vendor evaluation, selection, and onboarding.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination and ensure alignment across engineering, infrastructure, and business teams.
- Implement Agile practices (sprint planning, retrospectives, status reporting) to ensure efficient execution.
- Ensure documentation, knowledge capture, and accountability across the program lifecycle.
- 7+ years of Program or Project Management experience in technology environments.
- Experience with QA/testing processes and vendor management.
- Strong Agile/Scrum expertise (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe preferred).
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model in the San Francisco Bay Area.
