Sales Comp Analyst
As a Sales Compensation Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, administering, auditing, and optimizing sales compensation programs across global regions. You will partner closely with Sales, Finance, HR, and IT to ensure incentive plans are aligned with business objectives, clearly understood, and executed with accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities
Compensation Administration
• Support end-to-end incentive compensation processes, including pulling and validating sales performance data, calculating payouts, and reconciling results across systems
• Develop and execute audit frameworks to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies prior to payout
• Partner with Finance and Payroll to ensure timely and accurate payment of commissions, draws, accelerators, and spiffs
Communication & Collaboration
• Serve as a primary point of contact for sales representatives and managers regarding plan mechanics, performance tracking, exception handling, and payout inquiries
Governance & Compliance
• Maintain thorough documentation of compensation plans, calculations, policies, and processes to ensure transparency and audit readiness
Requirements
• 3+ years of direct experience owning sales compensation programs
• 3+ years hands-on experience administering sales compensation platforms such as Forma.ai, Xactly, Anaplan, or CaptivateIQ
• Experience supporting compensation for teams of 50+ sellers and leaders
• Strong understanding of quotas, accelerators, draws, and spiffs
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets proficiency, including complex formulas, lookups, IF statements, pivot tables, and large-scale data analysis
• Ability to document, improve, and scale processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
• Experience supporting global or multi-region sales organizations
• Familiarity with Salesforce and reporting tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
