Senior AV Systems Engineer
The Senior AV Systems Engineer is responsible for providing pre- and post-sales engineering support to sales and technical staff for all designed electronic systems. The role requires effective communication with both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to sales and technical staff on a pre- and post-sales basis.
- Offer high-level technical support for customer-related service issues.
- Assist sales staff with joint customer site visits, including delivering technical presentations.
- Support sales and estimating staff in system design.
- Manage vendor relationships, addressing product updates, issues, and high-level troubleshooting.
- Stay informed about current and new technologies offered.
- Assist in training internal technical and sales staff on new products.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Accountability:
The Senior AV Systems Engineer reports directly to the Director of Engineering & Programming and is also accountable to other management team members, employees, and customers.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Senior Engineer designing AV systems; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work collaboratively with others.
Travel:
Some out-of-town travel is required. While primary work is based in Wisconsin, nationwide travel may be necessary depending on client needs.

- Valid and current driver’s license.
Physical, Mental, and Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, sit, and use hands and fingers.
- Light lifting of objects may be required.
- Activities include reaching, grasping, and carrying.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
- Most work is performed indoors, with occasional outdoor activities subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations.
