Wholesale Marketing Manager
We are seeking a Manager, Wholesale Marketing to support the development and execution of account-based marketing and activation strategies for key wholesale retail partners. This role is responsible for driving business growth, increasing consumer engagement, and supporting brand health through impactful retail and digital marketing programs.
The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Visual Merchandising teams to deliver best-in-class consumer experiences across wholesale channels. This position requires strong project management skills, stakeholder management, and a passion for executing marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and sell-through.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Account Activation
• Develop and execute seasonal account marketing plans that align product, retail, and brand priorities.
• Manage account marketing calendars and activation plans across key wholesale partners.
• Partner with Sales and Merchandising teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and product priorities.
• Support the execution of digital and omnichannel marketing programs that enhance consumer engagement and conversion.
• Serve as the primary marketing contact for assigned retail accounts.
Retail & Consumer Marketing
• Execute in-store activations, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising teams to ensure consistent and compelling retail execution.
• Partner with retail stakeholders to maximize consumer engagement and sell-through opportunities.
• Monitor consumer trends, retail insights, and competitive activity to inform marketing recommendations.
Performance & Budget Management
• Measure and analyze campaign effectiveness and activation performance.
• Manage marketing budgets and optimize investment strategies to maximize ROI.
• Partner with Finance and Business teams to monitor spending and performance metrics.
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Collaborate with Sales, Merchandising, Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Visual Merchandising teams to deliver integrated consumer experiences.
• Support the development of marketing tools, assets, and programs that drive commercial success.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in wholesale marketing, brand marketing, retail marketing, digital marketing, account marketing, or trade marketing.
• Experience executing account-based marketing programs and retail activations for consumer-facing brands.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of retail marketing, digital activation, omnichannel strategies, and consumer engagement programs.
• Ability to analyze business performance, consumer insights, and retail trends to optimize marketing initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience within consumer products, retail, sporting goods, apparel, footwear, or related industries preferred.
