Senior Program Manager, Solutions Engineering

We’re looking for a Senior Program Manager, Solutions Engineering to turn complex creative and operational needs into clear, scalable technology solutions. This role sits within Creative Operations and serves as the stakeholder-facing Program Management arm of a Tools, Workflows & Technology organization.

Unlike a traditional Program Manager role, this position gets involved before the solution or scope has been defined—leading discovery, framing business problems, developing requirements, and partnering with Product Management and Engineering to determine the best path forward.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead intake, discovery, and problem framing for complex workflow, data, tooling, automation, and technology initiatives.
  • Translate ambiguous stakeholder needs into business outcomes, Jobs to Be Done, requirements, process maps, user stories, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Product Management to evaluate existing platform capabilities and determine whether needs can be addressed through existing products, workflow/configuration changes, integrations, automation, AI agents, or incremental enhancements.
  • Work closely with Engineering to ensure requirements are actionable, testable, and grounded in real creative-production needs.
  • Maintain continuity from discovery through delivery, business readiness, adoption, and outcome validation.
  • Take a platform-first and reuse-first approach, identifying opportunities to leverage and improve existing capabilities rather than creating one-off solutions.
  • Identify recurring business needs that can become reusable capabilities, standards, or product enhancements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional forums, clarify ownership and decisions, manage dependencies and risks, and drive initiatives through completion.
  • Use approved AI agents and reusable skills to support research, requirements development, documentation, intake routing, and backlog management.
  • Create executive updates, decision materials, training resources, and operational documentation.
  • Partner with Airtable architecture and engineering teams while remaining focused on requirements, outcome validation, and adoption rather than hands-on schema or automation development.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Program Management, Technical Program Management, Solutions Engineering, Business Systems, Creative Technology, Product Operations, Business Analysis, or a comparable role.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from ambiguous discovery through implementation and adoption.
  • Strong requirements experience, including workflow design, process mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical handoffs.
  • Proven experience partnering with Product Management and Engineering.
  • Strong systems thinking, root-cause analysis, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to evaluate whether a business need should be addressed through an existing capability, workflow change, automation, integration, incremental enhancement, or new investment.
  • Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing multiple high-impact initiatives with competing priorities and dependencies.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within creative operations, entertainment marketing, production technology, media operations, post-production, digital asset management, or marketing technology.
  • Knowledge of creative-production workflows, APIs, integrations, data models, metadata, taxonomy, automation, and reporting.
  • Experience with AI-assisted workflows, low-code/no-code platforms, prototyping, scripting, or data analysis.
  • Experience turning individual solutions into reusable standards, patterns, workflows, agents, skills, or platform capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Airtable or similar enterprise workflow platforms.

Contract: 12 months with the option to extend and potential to convert to a staff position. Extension or conversion is dependent on business needs, approved headcount, performance, and applicable company processes and is not guaranteed.
