We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead the design and implementation of blockchain-enabled solutions within a highly regulated environment. This role focuses on digital assets, tokenization, and distributed settlement use cases, ensuring alignment with enterprise security, resiliency, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture for blockchain and digital asset initiatives
- Design hybrid solutions integrating distributed ledger platforms with core systems, payment platforms, and data infrastructure
- Define on-chain vs off-chain responsibilities (smart contracts vs services)
- Establish architecture standards, governance models, and best practices
- Evaluate permissioned DLT platforms, identity models, and privacy frameworks
- Advise stakeholders on when blockchain is appropriate vs traditional solutions
- Partner with engineering and business teams on strategic initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, ideally within financial services or regulated environments
- Experience designing blockchain / distributed ledger solutions
- Strong understanding of payments, settlements, liquidity, or financial infrastructure
- Expertise in security, identity, and governance in regulated environments
- Experience with hybrid architectures (DLT + traditional systems)
- Ability to define on-chain vs off-chain architecture decisions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
- Experience with tokenization (digital assets, deposits, etc.)
- Familiarity with permissioned DLT platforms (e.g., Hyperledger, Corda)
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives
