Mainz Brady Group is looking for a Platform Engineer to lead our migration to Kubernetes, specifically on OpenShift, to enhance our cloud-native capabilities for one of our financial clients. You’ll work with CI/CD tools like UrbanCode, Jenkins, and HashiCorp products to develop scalable, secure, and automated application deployments. Key responsibilities include designing the migration strategy, integrating CI/CD pipelines, optimizing OpenShift, implementing automation with Terraform and Vault, and supporting development teams with Kubernetes best practices. You’ll also set up monitoring and maintain documentation to ensure reliability and streamlined platform operations.
Lead Kubernetes and OpenShift Migration: Design, execute, and oversee the migration strategy to Kubernetes on OpenShift, ensuring scalability and resilience for cloud-native applications.
CI/CD Pipeline Integration and Automation: Implement and optimize CI/CD processes using tools like UrbanCode, Jenkins, and Terraform, focusing on automation, security, and deployment efficiency.
Platform Optimization and Documentation: Collaborate with development teams to apply Kubernetes best practices, manage performance monitoring, and maintain detailed documentation for streamlined platform operations.
