Release Manager
Release Manager / Delivery Lead
We’re seeking an experienced Release Manager / Delivery Lead to provide end-to-end coordination and delivery leadership across multiple clinical and technology initiatives. This role will work across Product Owners, business teams, technology, configuration, UAT/quality, vendors, and operational stakeholders to ensure initiatives move from planning through implementation in a coordinated and predictable manner.
The Release Manager will own the integrated view of delivery—what is being delivered, when it is releasing, dependencies, readiness, risks, and stakeholder impacts.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead delivery coordination across multiple projects, product teams, and workstreams.
- Develop and maintain an integrated 90-day release and delivery calendar.
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate across Product Owners, Business Analysts, technology teams, configuration teams, UAT/quality, vendors, and operations.
- Facilitate release readiness and Go/No-Go discussions to ensure business and technical requirements are ready for implementation.
- Coordinate UAT schedules, defect resolution, approvals, and release dependencies.
- Identify delivery risks and impediments early and drive escalation and resolution.
- Provide leadership with concise reporting around delivery health, upcoming releases, risks, and key decisions.
- Ensure downstream stakeholders understand upcoming changes, timelines, impacts, and required actions.
- Utilize Jira to provide delivery visibility and track milestones, dependencies, and release health.
- Facilitate cross-team delivery discussions and ensure commitments and follow-up actions are documented.
- Support post-release reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in release management, delivery management, technical project management, or Agile delivery.
- Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional technology implementations.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and release management practices.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar delivery-management tools.
- Strong experience managing dependencies, risks, milestones, release readiness, and stakeholders.
- Ability to coordinate across business, Product, Operations, and Technology teams without direct authority.
- Strong facilitation, organization, and executive-level communication skills.
- Ability to balance detailed delivery coordination with high-level leadership reporting.
- Experience within healthcare payer, clinical systems, utilization management, payment integrity, or another regulated healthcare environment is preferred.

The successful Release Manager will bring visibility, predictability, and accountability to a complex delivery environment. Teams and leadership should consistently understand what is being delivered, when it will release, whether it is ready, what is at risk, and who needs to take action.
