Senior DevOps Engineer – AI / Edge Infrastructure

We’re looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the build, test, and deployment pipeline for a distributed computer vision platform running across customer manufacturing environments. This is a full-time, remote U.S. position with a strong focus on Linux infrastructure, deployment automation, CI/CD, and applying LLMs to production engineering workflows.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the end-to-end release pipeline, including builds, artifact promotion, deployment, and rollback.

  • Design and maintain Ansible-driven automation across distributed Linux edge environments.

  • Manage deployment and update tooling across Python and Golang environments.

  • Build LLM-powered testing and engineering automation, including test generation, failure analysis, flake triage, regression analysis, and release-note generation.

  • Harden CI/CD processes for offline and bandwidth-constrained environments.

  • Manage Docker environments, including NVIDIA container runtimes and GPU infrastructure.

  • Improve deployment observability, version tracking, and post-deployment health validation.

  • Mentor engineers on release engineering, infrastructure-as-code, and reproducible build practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of DevOps, SRE, or Release Engineering experience supporting production Linux systems.

  • Expert-level Ansible experience and working knowledge of Terraform.

  • Strong Docker experience, including container lifecycle management, image hardening, registries, and NVIDIA container runtime.

  • Deep Linux administration experience including systemd, networking, kernel/drivers, NVIDIA/DKMS, APT, and package management.

  • Strong Python experience focused on automation, tooling, packaging, wheels, pip, and CI integration.

  • Strong experience with Git and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.

  • Experience designing automated testing infrastructure across unit, integration, hardware-in-the-loop, and end-to-end testing.

  • Hands-on experience incorporating LLMs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or local models into engineering workflows.

  • Strong technical communication, documentation, and systems-thinking skills.

Nice to Have

  • Bazel or other monorepo build systems

  • Edge or embedded deployments

  • Tailscale, WireGuard, or Zero Trust networking

  • gRPC / protobuf

  • Vault, PKI, or enterprise secrets management

  • CMMC, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or other compliance-driven environments

Location: Remote – U.S.

This is a great opportunity for a senior DevOps engineer who enjoys owning infrastructure end-to-end and wants to work at the intersection of AI, computer vision, edge computing, and manufacturing technology.
