Senior Backend / AI Platform Engineer
Mainz Brady Group is seeking a Senior Backend / AI Platform Engineer to help build scalable AI-driven backend systems and autonomous agent platforms. This role focuses on modern microservices architecture, LLM integrations, semantic retrieval, and distributed AI orchestration in high-availability cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices
- Build AI/LLM integrations, agent workflows, and semantic retrieval systems
- Develop event-driven, containerized, and serverless architectures
- Implement secure REST/gRPC APIs and distributed orchestration frameworks
- Support CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code deployments
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Experience with APIs, microservices, Kubernetes, and cloud-native systems
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, or AI orchestration frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript
- Experience with vector databases, semantic search, and event-driven systems
- Understanding of OAuth2, CI/CD, Terraform, and scalable distributed systems
